Every weekend at Abundant Life Church is life-changing . . . we say we want the weekend to be the highlight of your week . . . I hope it is!
Here are some highlights from this past weekend . . .
- We saw over 3,000 in attendance at our two campuses
- We had around 600 people in our two Saturday services
- I got to teach our Membership Class with my beautiful and talented wife . . . we don't get to do that much anymore . . . that was fun . . . and around 80 people there . . . awesome
- I launched a new series on the book of Esther called . . . Defining Moments . . . I'm excited about it . . . some crazy stuff in that book . . . somebody is throwing a party in 7 out of the 10 chapters . . . an arrogant, pompous King . . . beautiful women . . . can I say that . . . assassination plots . . . the bad guy gets what's coming to him in grand Chuck Norris style . . . the good guys win . . . and so much more
- Yes . . . you have 24 hours a day . . . 187 a week . . . 8,765 in a year and they are filled with thousands and thousands of choices . . . some small . . . some insignificant . . .
- Defining Moments are those moments when you make choices that alter the course of your life and the lives of those around you
- God is still at work today just like He was in Esther's time . . . He wants to use you . . . maybe not to save a nation . . . but maybe to be instrumental in changing someone's eternal destiny
We've got to keep our eyes open . . . be observant . . . to what God is doing all around you and be willing to say . . . here I am God . . . I'm available . . . I'm Yours . . . use me!
I heard Xerxes gets his with Chuck Norris style, but Haman the anti-Semite gets it Jack Bauer steeze. Oooh, I don't know what is worse!?! Glad I am good on my man Mordacai's side.
