I'm the girl from LA that used to go to Mosaic!
I'm also probably one of the few people that can say that Google saved their life haha. And your website doesn't lie, you guys ARE a cool church! I used to go to Mosaic around two years ago with a friend, but when he stopped going so did I. When I moved up to Oregon this past September I just got an urge to find another church and found you. I listened to the Cool Church Radio podcasts and dug them but tried a church that was down the street and supposed to be "young" and "cool"... But after attending a few times I got the feeling that's all they were about. In January I really started to visit Abundant life as much as I could, to the point where now I get every Sunday off just to make it to church. I I look forward to it every week; come Wednesday I'm already counting down the days! About a month ago I experienced a big turning point in my life that I immediately saw as the inner-workings of God, and it completely destroyed every doubt I had and made me trust in him completely. And then at service the day before Easter, when I decided to be baptized, I can't even explain what happened; it was like an out of body experience! Something I'll never forget.
I just wanted to say thank you to the entire Abundant Life team!!

Pastor George & the Abundant Life team...
We want to also say thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus to our sweet Ali. We think of this God rescue with this verse...
The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. 1 Corinthians 3:8
We have had the honor of walking alongside the most amazing and beautiful girl on this planet... Ali Buckley! She is an incredible person inside and out, and we have begged God to reach in and bring her to himself now for years. You see the downfall and hardships she has encountered has been because she had fallen in love with our son, who has since walked away from God. Through there ups and downs, we have remained her family and have loved her like she were our own daughter... this past Easter when she called us and told us that she had been Baptized and was a new person... we burst into tears, we thanked God for His Mercy and Grace, and for using His Body 'The Abundant Life Church; as her net... and now new home... we are forever Grateful that God, you Pastor George and even Google all watered the seeds that have been sown all these years. It gives us hope for Jonathan...Please pray for our son that He come back to His first Love...
God Bless you all
Michael & Celeste &
the Guido Family
